Vic Firth artist Don Peretz performs "Dorothea" from his electronic avant-garde album "Lalita".
Peretz describes the record as “a collection of hundreds of composed loops and progressions written over several years, based on observations, experiences, and ideas, distilled into 11 soundscapes.”
The track “Dorthea” is an example of Peretz’ current musical headspace, turning to Dorthea Lange’s monumental photography of the mid 20th century American landscape to express the sound of true living conditions.
Produced by Don Peretz
Recorded and mixed at The Beanpot Studio, West Orange, NJ USA
Mastered at Ebby Lab NYC
